I have three children who attend Soledad schools. As a preschool teacher, most of my students will continue into Soledad schools. I'm very invested in the future of this District. What happens here directly affects my family every day. I don't have any grand political aspirations or hidden agenda; I just want what's best for our kids.
Over the years, I've served on School Site Council at both Rose Ferrero Elementary and Soledad High School. I served two separate terms at Rose Ferrero, both as President, and am currently in my second consecutive term as President at the high school. I've been active on the District Curriculum Council for a number of years. I've also had the pleasure of sitting on several interview panels over the past few years. It's a huge responsibility and one I take very seriously. Recently, I was elected President of the Soledad Education Foundation.
