Candidate for
City of San Marcos

Sharon has lived in San Marcos for over 40 years. She's a graduate of San Marcos High School, Palomar College, San Diego State University as well as CSUSM's Leadership North County.

Sharon has been an elected Governing Board Member of the San Marcos Unified School District since 1998. Currently, she volunteers on the boards of two local non-profit organizations: Valley of Discovery Education Foundation and Connected Through Kids (supports foster children throughout San Diego County).

Sharon has been a businesswoman for over 25 years mostly working in accounting. Prior to this she worked for IBM. Currently, she is a Realtor and also works as a controller for a private business.

Sharon has been married to Dan Jenkins for 34 years and has two adult daughters and one grand dog.
