I have lived in Sausalito for over thirty years and I have been actively working over the last thirteen years on community and the county issues in the following positions: Sausalito Wireless Ordinance Committee - Co-Chair - 1999-2000 Public Safety Facilities Steering Committee - Needs Assessment Committee 2002-2003 Maritime Support Group - Business Visioning Committee - Facilitator - 2007 Sausalito Historical Society-Board of Directors, Secretary 2002-2008 Sausalito Landmarks Board - Chair (2009) - 2006 to Present Recently qualified as a "Certified Local Government" and our first state grant application awarded the City of Sausalito $12,500 for future historic preservation. Yes on S (Public Safety Buildings Bond Issue) - Chair & Campaign Manager - 2008 Sausalito passed this mail-in vote with 81% and with careful management and a citizen's review committee promised by the measure, recently returned a surplus of $2M back to the taxpayers! Marin Conservation League - 2009 to Present, Secretary (2010-2011), 2nd Vice-President (2012-2013) WAM (Waterfront and Marinship Steering Committee - Physical, Environmental and Historical components(2008-2010) Yes on D (Measure to consolidate Sausalito with the Southern Marin Fire District) - Treasurer and Campaign Committee - 2012 Successfully passed with 63% approval Sausalito Historical Society - Helping compose and deliver a Sausalito history based program for third grade students at Bayside Elementary and Willow Creek Academy. We are currently developing a program for fourth grade students that will cover the Marinship and Marin City for this winter. Coastal Clean-up Site Captain - Sausalito Northern Waterfront - 2010, 2011 & 2012

Sausalito Citizen's Interview Panel - Advised hiring of the last two Police Chiefs, the Community Development Director and Public Safety Facility architects as well as helped evaluate police officers for promotions. |
