It is necessary to work collaboratively to govern effectively.
One of the biggest problems at City Hall is the failure of the Mayor and Board of Supervisors to work, collaboratively, to reach productive solutions.
We need reach an understanding that the welfare of the City comes above politics. Everything else flows from that: addressing issues surrounding homelessness, job creation, economic development, housing, health care, and safety. These issues affecting the City cannot effectively be addressed without a collaborative approach to solutions. I brought together a cross-section, broad based group of property owners, businesses, residents, and homeless advocates in forming the North of Market/Tenderloin Community Benefit District. I will bring that skill set to the Board of Supervisors.
