The budget should be focused on students.
East County families have been required to cut back because of a tough economy. Small businesses are required to live within their means. So should any school district financed by taxpayers' dollars! The Grossmont-Cuyamaca College District needs a Board Member who doesn't forget who he works for and who reminds his colleagues that they're spending money that's NOT THEIRS but that of hard working citizens. Where costs can be cut, they need to. For every dollar that is saved, it's one additional dollar that can then be used to help students learn and achieve which is what Grossmont and Cuyamaca Colleges are all about!
