Grossmont and Cuyamaca Colleges are great already - let's make them even better!Grossmont and Cuyamaca Colleges are vitally important to East County. Future workers, business owners, teachers, and medical personnel are just a few of the individuals who need the programs offered at Grossmont and Cuyamaca. The Board of Trustees needs a member who is excited about the good going on right now but who is also enthused about the future of the colleges. While enrollment is up, many class sections have been reduced which makes it very challenging and frustrating for students who then, oftentimes, end up dropping out for a year or who seek the classes at other institutions. The Board must do everything in its power to deal with these issues and never lose sight of the fact that the students are what matter and providing them with the classes they need is the priority! |
