Questions & Answers

1. What are the two most pressing issues you will face if you are elected? (50 word limit)

I know the struggles families face to send their children to school and college, to manage the family finances, and pay for the health care their families need. That is why making health care more affordable and strengthening the economy will be my top priorities in Congress.

2. How will you address each of those issues? (100 word limit)

To fix our health care crisis, we should offer tax credits to those who care for an aging parent, let Medicare negotiate for cheaper drugs for seniors the way the VA does, and offer better preventive medicine so families don't have to go to the emergency room when they get sick.

To strengthen the American economy, I believe we need to restore fiscal discipline in Washington. I also believe we should stop giving tax incentives to companies that outsource jobs to China and India. Instead, we should work together to bring good jobs back to Southern Ohio.
