Where I come from as a candidateI currently reside in Spring Township with my wife Lori. I am 33 years old and employed as an Engineer at Stanford Research Institute (SRI) International. I grew up on my family's farm in Jefferson County PA. I attended school in the Brookville Area School System. While in high school I worked for 4 years at Brookville Hospital. Upon graduation from High School I entered the US Navy and served 4 years working in the Reactor Department onboard a nuclear aircraft carrier (USS Nimitz). I was honorably discharged in 1997 upon fulfilling my commitment. Once discharged from military service I returned to Pennsylvania and attended Clarion University of PA achieving a BS in Computer Science in 3 years. While in college I worked in the repair shop of a truckstop and interned over a summer for General Motors. When I graduated from Clarion in 2000 I moved to Centre County to work as an Engineer at Raytheon Systems in State College. I worked there for over 6 years building computer systems for government organizations. In 2006 I left Raytheon to take a position as an Engineer at SRI International continuing to build computer systems for government agencies. |
