the Fresno County Counsel's Office from 1981 to 1984, focusing
on labor, retirement, school districts and county government
- Commuted to and from SLO County doing legal work in 1983 + a
time when Patty knew she'd live in SLO County permanently

- Worked for a private company that trained law school graduates
for their Bar Exams from 1984 to 1990
- Moved to SLO County permanently in 1992, working with Jan
Howell Marx on legal issues related to nursing home care and

- Became involved in school district issues when her daughter

year and Board President in 2001.
- Married to Kenneth Andreen, retired justice from the California
5th District Court of Appeal; currently sits as a Superior Court
judge by assignment throughout California

an honor student recognized by the mayor of SLO for her
community service
