Community Leader in K-12 Education LYNN DAVIS Highly Qualified. Dedicated. Conservative Philosophy. Leadership: Lynn was elected Chairman of the Hewes Middle School Site Council, and also serves on community and educational nonprofit Boards of Directors. He is very knowledgeable about scientifically proven methods of reading instruction. His wife Brenda is a dedicated PTA officer (Financial Secretary) and school volunteer. Community: Lynn is an Assistant Scoutmaster in Troop 1442, with over a decade of Scouting leadership experience. Their son Peter is a Webelos Scout & recently earned his "Faith In God" Award. Lynn & Brenda are also active volunteers in AYSO Soccer Region 96 and at church. Business Experience: Lynn has managed technology businesses both for large companies such as Lockheed and IBM, and at start-up firms. Lynn has VP and Chief Financial Officer level experience, and 20 years of success in contract negotiations, business strategy and financial management. Lynn has the knowledge it takes to strengthen the Tustin School Board. Education: BA magna cum laude in Math, Claremont McKenna College; MBA magna cum laude from Harvard University. Lynn knows how a good education can contribute to success. Family: I have been married to my wife Brenda for over 16 years. We have two children. Christy, who is 14, is a freshman at Foothill High School, and Peter, who is 10, is a fifth grader at Prentice. Brenda is very active in community service, serving as a PTA/PTO Officer, and working on numerous special projects. Her perspective is important to me.
