Candidate for
Harbor Commissioner; Moss Landing Harbor District

I have been a resident of Monterey County since 1971 and have lived in Moss Landing since 1987.

My husband Leonard Shirrel was a commercial fisherman as well as the owner of a marine business in Moss Landing and that was the main reason I became interested in the well-being of the harbor.

Prior to 1971 I lived on the east coast, mainly Phildelphia, Pennsylvania.

I have three adult children. My oldest son is an art gallery owner in the Napa Valley. My youngest son is a biophysicist doing reseach at the University of California Davis. My daughter lives in San Jose.

My leisure time activities center around music and acting as host for the Defense Resources Program at the Naval Postgraduate School.
