Campaign Finance ReformBy Jo ChamberlainCandidate for Member, Green Party County Council; County of San Mateo | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
I advocate public financing of election campaigns as the best means of restoring government to the voters.A little less corruption. Public financing has the benefit of being less expensive, ultimately, to the taxpayer. Until public campaign funding is enacted, I propose that campaign contributions of more than $1,000 be included in the definition of conflict of interest for California officials. |
