Experience, Integrity and Community Involvement

Jeff Reinhardt has lived in Agoura Hills since 1987. He was a founding member of the award-winning Agoura Hills Disaster Response Team, which has been used as a model for citizen preparedness in other communities.

Jeff was appointed to the Planning Commission in 1991, where he served until being elected to City Council in 1997. During that time he worked tirelessly to preserve and add to our open space. What development that has occurred has been modest and a credit to our city's architecture.

He was elected to the City Council in 1997 and has taken on difficult projects related to Transportation. He called a "Transportation Summit" of cities in the US 101 corridor that has focused the attention of the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG), MTA and CalTrans on finding ways to improve circulation in our region.

Jeff supported the formation of a regional Council of Governments and was appointed by that body to represent the region on SCAG's Transportation and Communications Committee. He also represents the city at meetings of the MTA's Northern Corridor Cities and is a member of the board of the San Fernando Valley Transit Zone Interim Joint Powers Authority.

In addition to governmental activities, Jeff is on the Board of the Conejo/Las Virgenes Future Foundation and served a term as chairman of that community "think tank" organization. Over the years, he has been an active supporter of youth sports including WAGS Girl's Softball, Agoura Pony Baseball and YMCA youth activities.

Jeff lives in Agoura Hills with his wife of 27 years, Melissa, daughter Jessica (21), and son Steven (15). Both children have attended or currently attend LVUSD schools.
