What are your views regarding the need for public transportation in your community to promote access to employment throughout the region?
As a member of OKI Board of Trustees, I support improving all moces of public transportation trhoughout the region. My community and it's citizen's would benefit from a comprehensive plan to relieve congestion on the highways. 2. Would you be in favor of county-wide campaign finance regulations that would provide for public matching funds, limit campaign contributions and provide for more disclosure? State your opinions on these ideas; whether you would support or oppose them.
I would support this- I would want to see the details before I say definitely. But it seems like an improvement to have more disclosure. 3. What are the benefits/detriments to land use planning prior to zoning decisions?
Benefits- planned development; protection of existing residential areas; avoid traffic congestion; avoid over-development; protect environment- protect and provide greenspace; more opportunity for citizen input; encourage cooperation between government.
