Political Philosophy for Richard CordrayCandidate for |
I consider myself a New Democrat who is difficult to pigeonhole on the traditional spectrum. I believe that government can provide a helping hand to those in need, but that it should not be considered the first and only answer to society's problems. I am a fiscal conservative, but one who believes that government should play an active role in protecting citizens from crime, fraud, and public corruption, which I will do as Attorney General. On social issues, I believe in tolerance, and I think that citizens should have the freedom to make their own decisions without government interference. |
