We Can Achieve the Public Safety We Need.By Debra GravertCandidate for Member of the State Assembly; District 10 | |

Schools and neighborhoods can be made safe once more through tough sentencing and an effective way to reduce repeat offenders.I will fight to make our schools and neighborhoods safe again and will support funding for the services and programs necessary to see this through. I support tough sentences, but also believe we must provide early-intervention programs for at-risk youth. We must also provide drug and alcohol programs for individuals in need of such assistnnce. We need to ensure that our police and firefighters have the adequate training, staffing and equipment to properly do their jobs. If they are unable to perform their duties, we lose! I will support fuding and programs that ensure they have the support they need to protect the public. |
