I Volunteer for are City Pico Rivera as a Basketball Coach, I"m also a youth Mentor I've been reconized by another City for helping youth. I was also reconized by the Mayor of Pico Rivera for my work in helping are kids and being a big part in improving are Youth program.

It's time to go to the route of the problem and Fix it.

some school board members are out of touch with reality it is time for change in a school district based to assent controls over our kids. My name is Victor Gonzalez and I'm running for School Board. I grew up here in Pico Rivera. I'm currently a basketball trainer and mentor. for our youth basketball program in our great city Pico Rivera. I am employed Account manager. I've been with my wife Erlinda Gonzalez for over 20 years, I have three kids James, Danny, and Sunshine Gonzalez. Our current Board leaders have proven that no matter with a P.H.D under their belt their out of touch with our District financially, reality and I will push for resources to be allocated to our schools rather than to administrative pet projects. I will put our kids education first as I have proven this through our basketball program and serving our city. I recently kicked off Read too Achieve, a reading program that was integrated in our basketball teams. Could this be done? The answer is yes, just look at what I have done for the basketball program and also look at what I have done with our kid's education. I may not have a PHD but I have heart and passion for are kids future, and together I want to bring El Rancho District to the top. I'm ready for long hours of hard work. I worked so hard to change our basketball program and now we have over 400 kids, closing ceremonies, better uniforms, cleaner floors, and now their also being recognized by the Mayor and city council, because I've always believe our kids should be acknowledge for their commitment and hard work in becoming great citizens in being involved in our City programs. We must insure that our kids gain, the knowledge in adopted skills they need to understand the world we live in. We must insure that their prepared for the responsibilities of decorated citizenship and a complex society. We must remember our kids are citizens too of this great city together, we will build them tall and strong thank you for your time and remember vote for Victor "coach" Gonzalez.
