Candidate for
Member of the State Assembly; District 42

I entered this race because I saw that the other candidates did not represent my concerns as a wife and mother.

The reason I am a Democrat is because the platform of the Democratic Party is most closely aligned with my values.

Democracy requires participation by many and many should be heard. Unfortunately, most are not being heard because large money contributions control debates for the wrong reasons.

Regular people are dropping out of the process. They do not feel connected to their government anymore. I will be the voice that hears them.

People need to feel that they have a stake in the process. Kids will not feel they have a stake if their are no jobs for them when they graduate. I will be accessible.

We need to reconnect as communities. Competition is good, but cooperation is just as important.
