Political Philosophy for Mike Harris
Candidate for |

Serving you and the citizens of Petaluma over the last 11 years has been quite an honor. With your continued support, I am ready to take the experience I have accumulated over the past 11 years and run for Mayor of Petaluma. Working together, we have had an agenda that has brought many positive impacts to town. Together we have invested in our infrastructure... brought a movie theater back to town... developed an economic analysis needed in order to have a game-plan for our downtown and city wide revitalization (inclusive of a new economic strategic plan that we completed and are implementing). We have adopted a new General Plan that is the guiding vision of our community... we have brought Target to town and Friedman's back home. They will give the City an economic shot in the arm that it desperately needed. However, we both know the work is not done. That is why I am running for Mayor. I will continue to push for: the economic revitalization of the city... earmark incremental revenues for our infrastructure... and making Petaluma a destination place for tourists. We must continue to push for regional transportation fixes such as the expansion of Highway 101, a Rainier cross-town connector and improving our streets. However, I cannot do it alone. I hope to earn your support in my run for Mayor of Petaluma. If you would like to know my views on any issues facing our city, feel free to call me at home or e-mail me. Please contact me at (707) 773-3196 if I can be of assistance to you or you may e-mail me at mike4pet@aol.com Sincerely, Mike Harris |
