New Leadership and Trusted Vision

By Steve DeBrum

Candidate for Mayor; City of Manteca

This information is provided by the candidate
Manteca is moving forward. We need to continue that momentum so all Mantecans can benefit from our progress.

Since being elected, Manteca has upgraded sewers, improved streets, addressed foreclosed and blighted properties, attracted new retail outlets and grown in a sensible and sustainable manner.

We have added police officers and funded a new fire station to decrease response times and make our city safer. The Council also passed a structurally balance budget and created a "rainy day" fund to protect taxpayers while increasing citizen participation and government transparency.

While much has been accomplished, much is left to do.

Our city is at a crossroads. We face tough decisions about growth, traffic, improved transportation corridors and attracting new family wage jobs. Manteca residents shouldn't have to commute great distances for high paying jobs.

My commitment to law enforcement and public service has earned me the support of Congressman Jeff Denham, Assemblywoman Kristin Olsen, Sheriff Steve Moore, Mayor Willie Weatherford, the Manteca Police Officers Association and all 5 San Joaquin County Supervisors.

It has been my honor and privilege to serve the residents of Manteca the last 11 years. I am now humbly requesting your support for Mayor so we can continue to move Manteca forward together.
