Glenn's Accomplishments as a Community Volunteer and Elected Representative
FISCAL:
1. Balanced all budgets
2. Increased City Reserves, reduced spending and size of city government
3. Established a conservative investment policy that preserved principal and met cash-flow demands
4. Questioned expenditures and required audits to ensure money is spent per city policies and standards

OPEN GOVERNMENT / COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT:
1. Initiated and facilitated multiple town hall meetings and other community engagement workshops
2. Guided downtown revitalization as co-chair of the Brea Project Task Force
3. Updated City's General Plan as a member of its Advisory Committee

OPEN SPACE PRESERVATION:
1. Created the Wildlife Corridor Conservation Authority
2. Implementation of the Hillside Preservation Ordinance
3. Active with the Stop Madrona Leadership Committee and testified before the Council

PUBLIC SAFETY:
1. Purchased the city's first ladder truck.
2. Implemented Community Oriented Policing and added the bike patrol.

QUALITY OF LIFE:
1. Accumulated funding and began property acquisition for the Sports Park
2. Led a citizen committee resulting in the establishment of Brea's Community Center
3. Initiated research on Rails to Trails Program being used for The Tracks @ Brea
4. Created and initiated the Mayor's Youth Community Service Award Program
