A short insiteFor those of you who may not know my background, I have been married to my very beautiful wife Jeree for 31 years. We have made Buena Park our home for the last 24 years. I understand the importance of family and community. I am very fortunate to have the support and love of my children - a daughter in law enforcement, a son in the photography trades, a daughter who is a stay at home mom. I have seven beautiful Grandchildren. My nearly 27 years employed by the City of Torrance, combined with 9 years working for AT&T and 3 years at Bank of America, have brought me insight into the inner workings of government finance and some of the issues facing local jurisdictions. Experience working as a Union Local Vice President has also taught me how to think outside of the box and come up with creative new solutions to some of the problems and issues of today. I have been a Union member all of my Adult life, First as a steward with CWA then as a Steward, Secretary, Treasurer, and Vice President with AFSCME. I am Union and will stand with my Brothers and Sisters when called upon to do so. We need to bring good paying Union jobs to projects coming on Beach Blvd. As a major tourist destination we need more Hotels and businesses in the Entertainment district. We need to build on our Tourist industry infrastructure and to look at the various ways we can fund enhancements while being fiscally responsible. We need people to Shop, Play and Stay in Buena Park.
