Shall the City Charter be amended to specify that the position of City Clerk would be appointed, not elected? The City Council will have the option of determining whether the City Council or the City Manager would have the authority to appoint the City Clerk.

Meaning of Voting Yes/No
A YES vote on this measure means:
A "yes" vote on this Measure is a vote to amend the City Charter so that the City Clerk position will be appointed.

A NO vote on this measure means:
A "no" vote is a vote to retain the language currently in the City Charter, maintaining the elective position of City Clerk.
