Director; East Bay Regional Park District; Ward 7

As a systems analyst at the East Bay Municipal Utility District, I work to protect the water supply for 1.3 million Contra Costa and Alameda County residents. My twenty-two years of experience working at a world renowned special district provide me with the necessary knowledge and leadership skills to guide the East Bay Regional Park District.

As a coach, manager and president of the non-profit Delta Baseball and Softball League, I have helped thousands of children enjoy sports, the outdoors, and better health. I have been a classroom volunteer, and served as a board member for the Special Kids Foundation.

As the President of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) Local 2019, I work to educate and successfully build consensus between organized labor, Senior Management and the EBMUD Board of Directors.

I live in Antioch with my wife and two daughters, who attend Antioch public schools.
