Computer Software and Education - What Could Be Better

I was a computer software engineer, but always an educator
I provide a unique combination of educational training and experience along with many years in the so-called high tech Silicon Valley. This is allowed me to bring new insights into what students are going to need to prosper in the future.

My last task as a software engineer was as a teacher and enforcer of software standards and procedures. This included VP's and General Managers. If they didn't pass the audits, they didn't get their bonuses. (Ah, the power.)

I am a strong supporter of the emphasis of STEM, and especially the Common Core which combines rote learning with problem solving, group interaction, and, most importantly, an emphasis on learning why, not just how.
