- Retired California Highway Patrol Assistant Chief.
- Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Business and Law Department at Los Angeles Mission College.
- Served five years as Commissioner and Chairman on the Thousand Oaks Planning Commission.
- Member of "RDP21" a coalition of military, business and community. leaders working to prevent military base closures in Ventura County
- Currently serves as a Commissioner on the Ventura County Area Housing Authority Board of Directors.
