BRIEF SUMMARY OF COMMUNITY ACCOMPLISHMENT

2000-present, Central California Criminal Justice Committee, chaired for most
of last 11 years. We are responsible for encouraging two mayors to hire the OIR, Office of Independent Review.

2007-2013, Introduced mediation program that was accepted by police chief and passed unanimously by city council, 2012.

2005-present, created youth/police handbook for high school students. Currently handbook is being distributed to all who work with youth and high school students and is being very well received.

2002-present, member of Police Chief's Advisory Board. I continue to bring individual's concerns to CAB meetings, I am a voice for the community.

2010-2012, Education Justice Committee, worked with committee to put together fact sheet on FUSD, Fresno Unified School District's dropout rate and other educational issues.
