After receiving a BA degree with a major in chemistry from the College of Wooster, Wooster, Ohio, Bob Kenworthy started with DuPont as a chemist in the Flint, Michigan automotive finishes laboratories and retired from DuPont in 1993 after holding various management positions in both the finishes and polymers businesses. Following retirement, he served for five years with the Rollins Environmental Services Company as its VP of Sales and Marketing. In November 1997, Bob started a small post-retirement consulting practice, The Crumwald Associates, Inc., which is still in business today. Since January 2007, he has been retained by the Chemical Heritage Foundation (CHF) in Philadelphia as its Manager of Affiliate Relations. Bob has been a resident of Nether Providence Township since 1979 and has represented the 2nd Ward as commissioner for the last 4 years. He was elected following service as a volunteer on the recycling task force which helped establish the co-mingled single-stream program we enjoy today. Bob and his wife, Judy, have been married since 1967; have two grown children and five grandchildren. They are both members of the Wallingford Presbyterian Church where Judy serves as an officer. Bob is active as a volunteer through the Presbytery of Philadelphia.
