Candidate for
Council Member; City of San Mateo

I am a native Californian of age 53, with a special appreciation for our Spanish architecture and heritage as I was baptized at Mission San Diego, attended elementary school at Mission San Jose, went to mass at Mission San Luis Obispo while in college and was married in the Mission Dolores Basilica in San Francisco.

I moved to San Mateo almost 13 years ago from San Francisco to the Phase I Bay Meadows development right before my son Jack was born, and now live in the Crystal Springs neighborhood in a remodeled condominium where I served on the HOA board for a few years. He attends Abbott Middle School and enjoys their science and basketball programs, and we also have a hunting dog named Brody.

I attended St. Francis High School and then Cal Poly where I graduated with a BS degree in Graphic Communications and took a number of architecture classes along the way. I have worked in Sales and Marketing most of my career and now am in charge of Marketing Operations for an international wholesale business based in the warehouse district of San Mateo. I am attending the San Mateo City Services Academy and am studying to apply to Law School, and want focus on Public Policy.
