All voices should be heard and respected. We can solve our problems only by working together and setting aside past differences.

I support cost-effective water solutions, including:

  • A portfolio of affordable multiple water projects using the unique financial powers and strategic position of the District
  • Finding ways to stop overpumping and to fund the Seaside Basin
  • Minimizing unaccounted-for ("lost") CalAm water
  • Expanding wastewater and greywater projects using local and state funding, best technologies and partnerships
  • Increasing underground water storage and recovery
  • Desalination to assure a drought-tolerant/emergency water supply

I support the public's right to be involved in important water decisions
  • This includes the public ownership of CalAm
