On November 5th, you have an opportunity to vote for School Board members to represent the East Whittier School District. Our District needs to have strong and proven leadership from Board Members who will continue to provide quality education, understand the needs of the community and schools, while maintaining safe schools for our students.

On November 5th, you have an opportunity to vote for School Board members to represent the East Whittier School District. Our District needs to have strong and proven leadership from Board Members who will continue to provide quality education, understand the needs of the community and schools, while maintaining safe schools for our students.

During my time on the school board, our district has made huge gains in student achievement, raising the statewide academic performance of the district by +86 API points! Most importantly, all our schools are over the state required 800 API plateau. East Whittier School District is also one of the only a few districts in the state whose student population is increasing. All of this can be attributed by the quality education that our teachers and support staffs are providing to the district as well as the hard work being done under the leadership of the current board of education.

It would be my pleasure to serve our community again to continue the successful progress of our district. My years of experience as a teacher, school principal, board member, and parent, have given me the abilities to effectively lead our school district through these tough financial times, but yet still providing and understanding the high-quality education our students deserve. If re-elected, I will continue to ensure that the East Whittier City School District continues to provide the necessary resources to stay the best!
