Occupation: Fiscal Audit Manager
Age: 48
Education and Qualifications:

The person we choose to be our next Supervisor will have the crucial responsibility of not only being a strong policy maker, but also someone who can restore public trust in county government and put the needs of our community first. I believe I am the person best qualified to fulfill that obligation.

I am a San Jose native. I grew up in District 2, in one of our community's most civically engaged families. I have spent my entire professional life as a leader in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. Through that experience, I have had the opportunity to work with community leaders on critical issues like environmental stewardship, early childhood education, quality health care, public safety, and open government. Currently, I manage an internal audit program for a countywide public agency and serve on the audit committee of a business association.

As your Supervisor, I will be committed to tackling the challenges we face with conviction and integrity, and I will push to implement strong reforms to ensure that our leaders provide the accountability we expect and the services we deserve.

I would be honored to have your vote. Please visit http://www.TeresaAlvarado.com to learn more about my campaign.
