I am interested in serving on the school board because I want to be involved in decisions that impact the community. I have a personal interest in Fox Chapel Area schools achieving the highest standards because I have four school-aged children and will have at least one child in our schools for the next 14 years. I will bring leadership and a practical and decisive approach to address critical issues that affect the education our students through my business experiences. While I was a student, my mother served on the school board, so I know first-hand the challenges and rewards that go along with this type of service.

I have been employed by Eli Lilly and Company for nearly 22 years in eastern Ohio, Indianapolis, and Pittsburgh. My business experience includes positions in sales and marketing, and management. I graduated from Bucknell University in 1991 with a bachelor's degree in business management, and received a master's degree from the Graduate School of Industrial Administration (now the Tepper School) at Carnegie Mellon University in 1998.

I married my wife, Lisa, in 1999. We have lived in the Crofton neighborhood since 2002. We have four children, and our oldest three children attend O'Hara Elementary School. We are active members of St. Joseph Parish in O'Hara Township. I have been involved in athletics in the community as a coach through the Fox Chapel Area Youth Basketball league.
