Kaiden Degas is fiscally conservative. Be believes in a balanced budget or a surplus. And long term liabilities need to be incorporated into current budgets to have truly sustainable state finances. Kaiden is not a proponent of government using subsidies for social planning objectives. He believes in strong property rights and supports strong patent and trademark protection. He is an advocate for contract law enforcement, but believes that consumer protection laws are anchored in the belief that people are incapable of making informed decisions, and does not agree with them. He is also a supporter of workers to collectively bargain.

Kaiden centers his philosophy on social issues around freedom. He is an advocate for the growing of hemp and the manufacturing of hemp products. Kaiden is against victim-less crime laws and believes that adults are capable of making decisions on what to do to their own bodies. He does not believe that state funds should be used to finance the resulting medical expenses that may arise from people making choices with their own bodies that increase their risk for disease or illness. Along with believing that government has no place in determining self medication, Kaiden is strongly against population medicine such as water fluoridation. Kaiden is strongly in favor of the 2nd amendment and opposes restrictions on the right to bare arms. Kaiden believes that immigration is a benefit to the receiving economy and supports the right for everyone to work.
