A VISION TO IMPROVE COVINA - THE ENERGY TO MAKE IT HAPPEN

By Jorge A. Marquez

Candidate for Council Member; City of Covina

This information is provided by the candidate
As a 25-year resident of Covina active in many civic and community organizations, I look forward to representing you on City Council. My community roots run deep. I attended both Covina-Valley and Charter Oak school districts, served as a city commissioner, an AYSO coach, president of the Covina Lions Club, and I am an active member of Sacred Heart Church.

I understand the issues critical to our city, including safe neighborhoods, clean water, and quality services like our library and senior center. In my work as a field deputy, I ensure our seniors, veterans, children, and all residents receive the services they need.

Everyone is asked to do more with less these days. City Hall should be no exception. When elected, I will make sure we provide quality services without balancing the budget on the backs of Covina families.

I will draw on my experience serving our community to represent you on the City Council. I am proud to have the endorsement of local community leaders like Bob Cruz, Jane Bock, Darrell Myrick, Bill Knoll, and many others.

I respectfully ask for your consideration and your vote.
