During my 19 years of service for the residents of Springfield Township, the quality of service and therefore the quality of life has continually been improved.Dear Residents of House District, I have lived in Springfield Township for 38 years, operated my business here for over 29 years, and am honored and proud of serving as one of your trustees for the last nineteen years. When I became Trustee nineteen years ago, the residents of Springfield Township did not benefit from any of the following: A township 24/7 Fire/EMS department and comprehensive Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) An accredited police department, ranked in the top 10% in the USA Township-wide zoning and property maintenance codes The Grove Hall and a Seniors/Community Center with Director Development Services Director Citizen Based Vision and Land Use plans Hummer and Warder Parks Home Rule Curfew and Noise Resolutions Residential Recycling and bins behind the Township Building Aggregation of gas and electric purchases saving residents hundreds of dollars per year State of the art facilities make it possible to house fire and EMS/ALS personnel on-station 24/7 and hosting of the Hamilton County Urban Search and Rescue Team Equipment. To keep you informed and involved, a monthly electronic Township newsletter, a Township web site, a Citizen's Police Academy and Alumni Association, Citizens on Patrol, Police Cadet and Explorer Programs, Kid's Police and Fire Academies, and a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program are provided. To reduce Township expenses, we pursue federal and state grants and other funding. The Township has been awarded over 9 million dollars since 1995. An independent consultant evaluates Township roads and establishes priorities for repairs and resurfacing. On March 6, I would appreciate your vote to allow me to broaden the programs I have implemented in the township over the last 19 years. My goal is to continue to improve your quality of life for the residents of Ohio House District 33. Trustee, Tom Bryan |
