Who I Am & My Commitments To You

A bit about my background, why I am running and my pledges to the voters.

Born and raised here in Camarillo, I absolutely love this city which I have always known as my home. After getting married, my wife and I chose to remain here to raise our family in the same great community that we both grew up in. We now have three wonderful children and own a home in the Mission Oaks area.

I have always been active in the community, serving as part of our local governance structure, volunteering my time to run and coach local sports programs, volunteering with our local community theater and with our local schools, and helping to improve our overall quality of life.

My pledges to you include reducing wasteful government spending, stimulating our sluggish economy by supporting local businesses and promoting job growth, working with the state and the county to reduce traffic congestion within the city, fighting against any new local tax increases, ensuring that public safety tax dollars are spent wisely to protect our residents, and slowing the growth of our community through smart and controlled land use initiatives.
