1. How will you prioritize the budget choices the Legislature must make to align the state’s income and spending?
I support spending caps on State Budget to limit budget increases to cost of living plus population increase.2. What types of changes or reforms, if any, do you think are important to make our state government function more effectively?
It is important to address and cut wasteful government spending, and to work towards pension reform.3. Fees for public higher education have gone up dramatically and funding has been cut. Is this a priority concern, and if so, what measures would you propose to address it?
I support legislation or an initiative to require at least 70% of all education money to be spent in the classroom.4. What other major issues do you think the Legislature must address? What are your own priorities?
-Supported CA Chamber's Position regarding "Job Killing Legislation"
-Support Part-Time Legislature
-Supports Laying Off Non-public Safety State Employees to Help Balance Budget and Make California Live Within its Means
-Supports all state mandates on cities and counties be fully funded by the state
