Desal Ocean Water is very expensive
The cost to purify one acre foot of seawater is about $1700 Plus. Orange County is purifying treated wastewater for $800 an acre foot. The end product is the same. Water too pure to drink(no Flavor and Pipe corroding). Is the public willing to pay twice as much for the same product? Also, keep in mind the wasteful use of natural gas.
