Education and Qualifications:
I have a diverse multicultural background with travel to and residence in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Mexico and Latin America. I am a graduate of UOP, with studies at Stanford, Berkeley and Costa Rica. My career includes; migrant education teacher, Berryessa summer school and substitute teacher and an Evergreen middle school teacher for 33 years. I have been involved with Ruskin, Sierramont, and Majestic Way PTAs.

We have lived in Berryessa for 26 years. My wife Anne and I each have 40 years in education. Our 3 daughters have attended school in Berryessa and Evergreen. Our grandchildren continue the tradition.

Even under financial duress the district has recruited and retained qualified teachers. The budget continues to be a major concern. We need experienced and involved community leaders to succeed in the next few years. Voters must support school ballot measures so that homeowners and our children can benefit from our excellent schools.

Our schools have been hit with a terrible financial storm. We are in the eye of the hurricane and must prepare for the rest of the storm. Join me to protect this precious garden of Berryessa education. Re-elect Richard Claspill.
