I'm Lupe Ramos Watson, a businesswoman and mother who has served as your Coucilwoman and Mayor for Indio City Council. I am running for my 3rd term in the November 6th 2012 General Election.

Born and raised in Indio, Lupe and her family have been local business owners for generations.

Lupe's commitment to the community is evident in her priorities and accomplishments. She has led the City in promoting and growing our local economy through projects such as: the Jackson Shopping Centers, the new Riverside County Administrative Center, and the downtown College of the Desert campus, which have brought hundreds of millions of dollars in investment and jobs.

Lupe continues to safeguard our community by protecting public safety and enhancing recreation opportunities such as the Senior Center, Teen Center and City's parks.

She has served on many boards such as: Southern California Association of Governments Regional Council, Riverside County Children and Families Commission, Coachella Valley Economic Partnership, Coachella Valley Housing Trust, and Desert Sands/CV Unified/College of the Desert Joint Education Committee and many more.
