Council Member; City of Buena Park

My father was a career military man--U.S.M.C.--who instilled in me a sense of pride and also a duty to give back to the community in which you live.

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Baron's family moved to Southern California when he was nine. He received his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees at CSU Long Beach. A lifetime member of the Buena Park Historical Society, Baron has served as president of the Rotary Club, chairman of the city's Memorial Day Services and Children's Christmas Shopping Spree. He is also a member of the Mayor's Prayer Breakfast Committee, the local Chamber of Commerce, the Buena Park Community Chorus and is a director on the B.P. TV Cable Foundation Board.

A Buena Park homeowner, Baron, 64, has more than 40 years of private sector experience in Accounting and Economics.

A member of four car clubs including the O.C. Mustang Club, in his spare time he is the lead singer for the band "Nightshift" which plays at weddings and private parties.
