As a local businessman, former university administrator and as a college trustee, I bring a wealth of experience and knowledge that is necessary to make difficult and informed decisions, especially during these poor economic times. Experience is needed more than ever. I know how to manage taxpayer funds in an efficient and cost effective manner without negatively impacting city services. Quality police and fire services are essential in having safe and secure neighborhoods. Well maintained parks, libraries, and streets are equally important. As a homeowner, I strongly believe in property rights and will fight to preserve our neighborhoods. As a business owner, it is important to be business friendly. In order to increase our tax base, we need to attract more businesses, while also ensuring those that have invested in Orange are equally successful. I AM A MILITARY VETERAN WHO BELIEVES IN: Being fiscally prudent and responsible. Being accessible to the public. Being transparent as to how the council conducts its business.
