As your representative, I have worked hard to make sure Stanton remains a City of Community Pride and Forward Vision. I have provided you a balanced budget and a stable economy with No bankruptcies in our future.

Serving you as Mayor and Councilman has been both challenging and rewarding. The economic recession that began in 2008 and continued through 2012 impacted our city's ability to provide quality services. After the State of California took $11.1 Million of our local tax revenue, most cities would not have survived. Yet with our proven leadership and the support of the community, we balanced our budget by cutting nearly $6 Million over 4 years.

The City's successful economic recovery plan has shown growth in new revenue and will lead to many more new businesses and jobs in our City. Together with volunteers we are keeping our parks and Police Station open. I listened to the voters by supporting No New Taxes on the November ballot and kept Public Safety Funding for Police and Fire Fighters my number one priority.

My Family and I have lived in Stanton for 32 years.
