Public safety and crime prevention

I fully support our deputies and firefighters. The city's programs to teach emergency preparedness to its citizens should continue to be supported.
Public safety and crime prevention are a number one priority for me. And it isn't just the sheriff's or fire department's job. The city has a number of programs for the citizens to learn about what they can do and I want to keep programs like that going and build on it so that we have the greatest city in the county.

I've met quite a few of our deputies and firefighters that work in the city and I can't say enough good things about them. They deserve our support and respect.
