Four reasons: Experience, Time, Independence and Access
Four reasons: Experience, Time, Independence and Access
I'll start with Experience. I've worked with City staff for years, both from outside the 'city family' and inside, as an committee member appointed by the City Council. I've helped my neighbors with city issues for years as a neighborhood president.
Time: I'm retired. I have the time it takes to devote to this very important job: Representing You.
Independence: I'm an independent voice. I don't answer to any political party. I do not have a city pension, and pensions will have to be discussed by this council.
Access: I'm known as the go-to guy in my neighborhood, I can do the same for you on the council. I've been doing that for years for my neighbors, and I can do it for more years, for you.
The bottom line for all this is that we're electing people to represent us. I've shown that I'm good at representing those who elected me. The only way I can help you is if you elect me, I ask for your vote, so remember Mike in November.
