I began my community involvement in 1995 by working in my neighborhood to improve the quality of life for our families. There were blight problems and I contacted city leadership including the police department to help remedy this situation. This work led me to lead the effort to create the Neighborhood Watch program and now our city has 6 programs working to make families feel safe and connect them to our police department and code enforcement. |
