Education and qualifications:

I have lived in Clayton with my daughter Nicolette since 2000.

As your current Vice Mayor, I have been an integral part of running the City. I am an important independent voice among our councilmembers. I helped lead the charge with our community in converting Clayton Valley High School to a Charter School that will help our kids receive a better education and raise property values in Clayton. As a former board member of the Clayton Business and Community Association and Chair of the Art & Wine Festival I have helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for the Clayton Community.

As a local business owner and being on the council, I have the knowledge and experience to make tough decisions. While on the council, I have made educated decisions that are not based on emotion, but what is best for the city of Clayton.

I fought to bring the Thursday Night Summer Concert series to Clayton to help support our local businesses, bringing hundreds of people downtown when they were not coming before. I fought to eliminate pension plans for councilmembers to save the city money. I would like to continue to fight for you for four more years.
