My ideas for district priorities.Better communication - Policies that promote honest dialogue among families, staff, students, and community members to improve our school system. Focus on learning - Clear, consistent high academic and behavioral expectations. All our students benefit from high-level, quality instruction. School level innovation - Freedom for each school to meet the needs of its unique student body, partnering with the community and supported by the school district. Individualized education - Support for our teachers in reaching beyond the one-size-fits-all curriculum to meet our students' varied backgrounds and needs. Prepare students for life - Reaching out to employers, universities, and training programs to work with us to prepare our students for the future. Courageous leadership - Fighting any regulation that is not in our students' best interest. |
