Candidate for
Board Member; Knightsen Elementary School District

Thomas (Tom) is a proud 1986 graduate of Knightsen Elementary and has earned an A.A. degree in Public Safety from San Joaquin Delta College in 1995.

Tom has 20 years in the Fire Service, he started in 1992 as a Paid on Call "Volunteer" Firefighter for the Oakley Fire District at the Knightsen Station. Today he holds the position of Engineer and is an Acting Captain for the Tracy Fire Department. Tom is Chair the Apparatus Committee and over sees the maintenance of the department's fleet.

Tom is a 3rd generation Knightsen Hay grower, a family business that he takes a tremendous amount of pride in.

As a 2nd term Trustee for Reclamation District 2065, Tom has established a solid record of experience dealing with contracts, governing laws and regulations. Tom understands how such governing laws, regulations and other standards affect Districts and how a Board operates.

Tom's wife Devon is active in the classroom and Vice President of the Knightsen Parent Teacher Club. Their two sons are students at Knightsen School, 1st and 3rd graders.
